Work with usability of digital interfaces as a way to have fun, was my desire to express how passionated I feel when I work with web design.
I expect to brush (literally) some reviews about a few websites and some aspects of them. Some websites are famous, others are not so famous, and others are not famous at all. The idea is to "illustrate" some usability aspects of the websites, pointing what works and what doesn't work and why.
I use my own guidelines of usability but if you want to take a look in some cool guidelines, this website provides the information you want: www.usability.gov

Current Activities
I recently finished my master degree in Human Engineer at the University of Minho. The field studyed is usability and accessibility in websites and how we can include blind people with those approaches. Basically I studyed their differences and how both can complement for a better navigation for the blind people (accessibility + usability).
The website I took as my "rat lab" is called cinereview (in Portuguese), which was kindly offered by a very close friend, who was brave enough to give me total freedom to "destroy" its original design. The usability and accessibility (most of the parts) in the website is already done. The results were incredible different, as exected. I will post the conclusions of my work here when I got time.
